If you are searching for Diane Marlys Bromstad Wikipedia, you may be surprised to learn that she does not appear to have a standalone Wikipedia biography. Instead, Diane is best known through the Wikipedia biography of her son, David Bromstad, the American interior designer and HGTV television personality. David’s biography identifies Diane Marlys Bromstad, née Krueger, as his mother and Richard Harold David Bromstad as his father.
Diane has lived a considerably more private life than her famous son. As a result, many details circulated online—including her exact birth date, age, occupation and personal net worth—are difficult to verify through authoritative sources.
What can be established with greater confidence is her place within the Bromstad family. Diane and Richard raised four children, with David being the youngest. David was born in Cokato, Minnesota, in 1973 and later developed a successful career in interior design and television.
Diane also became more visible to television audiences when she appeared as David’s Mom in the 2025 HGTV special My Lottery Dream Home: David’s Happy Ending.

Who Is Diane Marlys Bromstad?
Diane Marlys Bromstad is the mother of David Bromstad, who became a well-known television designer after winning the first season of HGTV’s Design Star in 2006.
David’s official biographical information identifies Diane as his mother and gives her maiden name as Krueger. His father is identified as Richard Harold David Bromstad. David grew up as the youngest of four children in Cokato, Minnesota.
Unlike David, Diane has not developed a substantial independent public career in television or entertainment. Most information available about her is therefore connected to her family.
This distinction is important when researching her biography. Search results sometimes make Diane appear to be a conventional celebrity subject with detailed statistics, but much of that information comes from secondary biography websites rather than primary records.
A more reliable profile focuses on information that can actually be supported.
Is Diane Marlys Bromstad on Wikipedia?
There is no dedicated Wikipedia article for Diane Marlys Bromstad.
Her name appears in David Bromstad’s Wikipedia biography, where she is listed among his parents. The same biography identifies her as Diane Marlys Bromstad, née Krueger, and explains that David was the youngest of four children.
Therefore, when people search for “Diane Marlys Bromstad Wikipedia,” they are generally looking for information that is contained within David Bromstad’s biography rather than a separate Diane Bromstad page.
This is an important difference between having a Wikipedia entry and simply being mentioned in another person’s article.
Diane Marlys Bromstad Net Worth
Diane Marlys Bromstad’s exact net worth is not publicly verified.
There is no reliable financial disclosure that establishes her personal assets, investments, annual salary, property holdings or other sources of wealth.
Some celebrity and biography websites publish estimated figures for Diane, but those numbers should be treated cautiously. There is no strong evidence showing that such estimates are based on audited financial statements, tax records or verified asset disclosures.
It would also be misleading to use David Bromstad’s earnings as a substitute for Diane’s personal wealth.
David has built his own career through television, interior design and related projects. His financial success does not automatically indicate how much money his mother personally owns.
For that reason, the most responsible conclusion is that Diane Marlys Bromstad’s personal wealth remains private.
Diane Bromstad Income Sources
Publicly available information does not establish a regular professional income stream for Diane.
There is no sufficiently reliable evidence showing that she earns money through:
- Acting
- Professional television hosting
- Music
- Brand endorsements
- Social-media sponsorships
- Royalties
- A documented business
- Public investments
- Professional design work
Diane’s appearance in My Lottery Dream Home: David’s Happy Ending should also not automatically be interpreted as proof of a television salary.
IMDb lists her as “Self – David’s Mom”, meaning she appeared as herself rather than as a conventional cast member playing a professional role.
Early Life and Family Background
Detailed information about Diane’s childhood and education is limited.
The strongest readily available biographical evidence comes through David’s history. According to his Wikipedia biography, David was born in Cokato, Minnesota, on August 17, 1973, and grew up as the youngest of four children of Diane and Richard. The same source identifies Diane as being of Swedish and German descent and Richard as being of Norwegian descent.
David’s childhood interest in art eventually became an important part of his professional identity.
While attending Wayzata High School, he reportedly developed an interest in becoming a Disney animator. He later attended Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, before working as a Disney illustrator.
Although these details primarily describe David, they provide useful context for understanding the family environment in which he developed his creative interests.

Diane Bromstad on My Lottery Dream Home
One of the most significant pieces of recent information about Diane is her appearance in ** My Lottery Dream Home: David’s Happy Ending **.
The HGTV special originally aired on December 19, 2025, and documented David’s lengthy renovation of his own home. The project became a much larger undertaking than he initially expected after severe storm-related damage affected the property.
IMDb credits Diane as “Self – David’s Mom” in the special. Richard Bromstad is also credited as David’s father.
The appearance is particularly notable because it gives viewers a relatively rare opportunity to see David’s parents within his television world.
Rather than portraying Diane as an entertainment professional, the program presents her in the context that has always defined her public identity: David’s mother.

David Bromstad’s Dream Home and Family
David’s dream-home story also helps explain why Diane’s recent television appearance attracted attention.

The property was intended not only as David’s personal residence but also as a place where he could spend time with friends and family.
This family-centered aspect makes Diane’s appearance especially relevant to viewers interested in the personal side of David’s career.

Assets and Lifestyle
There is not enough reliable information to provide a detailed list of Diane Bromstad’s personal assets.
No authoritative public source establishes ownership of specific luxury homes, vehicles, investment portfolios or other high-value possessions in her name.
This distinction becomes especially important because David’s television career revolves around homes and interior design.
Images of expensive properties associated with David should not automatically be attributed to his mother.
Likewise, estimates of David Bromstad’s net worth should not be presented as Diane’s wealth.
The safest conclusion is that Diane’s lifestyle and assets are largely private.
Personal Life
